MailTruster ("we", "us", "our") is an email verification service accessible at mailtruster.com. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

• Email addresses - submitted for verification. We do not store them after the check is complete.
• IP address - used solely for rate-limiting purposes. Not linked to any personal profile.
• Usage data - anonymous analytics via Umami (no cookies, no cross-site tracking).
• Contact form data - name and email address when you reach out to us. Used only to respond to your message.

• To provide and improve the email verification service.
• To enforce fair-use rate limits.
• To respond to support or contact requests.
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (anonymous analytics only).

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email addresses submitted for verification are processed in real-time and are not persisted in our database. IP addresses used for rate-limiting are stored temporarily (rolling 24-hour window) and then discarded. Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your request.

MailTruster uses Umami for privacy-friendly analytics. Umami does not use cookies, does not track users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other invasive tracking tools.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of MailTruster after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
